We are delighted to announce the return of live performance to St Aidan’s in November 2021. This will be a celebration of musical theatre and dance in Constance Green Hall over several nights.
Year 13 Swing Band, Year 13 Chamber Choir and Year 10 GCSE Music students should have been appearing on the Symphony Hall stage, Birmingham, this weekend at the National Festival of Music for Youth, until it was cancelled very recently.
Our Year 10 Food Technology students have been busy making layered desserts.
We currently have a fantastic display in main reception of Year 10 and Year 12 Fashion and Textiles projects.
Year 10 Food students applied their knowledge of bread science, fermentation, denaturalising, coagulation and dextrinisation in classes this week, whilst making delicious savoury breads.
The Year 10 Cricket team played their first fixture at a sunny Otley Cricket Club on Thursday 17th June.
The House of Lords Committee on Sport and Recreation last week held a virtual roundtable with pupils from St Aidan’s Church of England High School in Harrogate as part of its inquiry into how we can get more people across the UK to live physically active lives.
The Food Department is very proud of the practical work the Year 11 Food students have completed throughout the year.
