St Aidan’s Alumni network is known as St Aidan’s Onwards. We would like to connect former students and teachers with the current life of the School and also learn more about your onwards journey.
Over the next few years our Alumni will develop to be a thriving network, reconnecting students from across the globe with their former classmates. We invite all our students to join this network in Year 13 and we are also reaching out to all who have left since the School was formed in 1968.
Our 50th celebrations will include a Gala Concert on 4th May 2019 (7pm) and a special celebratory service on 5th May 2019 at Ripon Cathedral. On Saturday 4th May (2-4pm), there will be a ‘Jubilee Welcome’ for all those connected with the school, to which Alumni will be specially welcome. This will be held in school.
The Community Choir is open to all with any connection with St Aidan’s, past or present. It’s programme this time will include, among other items, Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus and Dan Forrest’s inspiring setting of And Can It Be, both accompanied by full orchestra. We would also be glad to hear from anyone who would like to play in the orchestra for this. There will be three choir rehearsals on April 2nd, 9th and 30th in St Aidan’s Main Hall from 7.30 – 9.30. There will be a final rehearsal on the afternoon of 4th May, with the exact time to be confirmed. If you would like to sing or play, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org with ‘Community Choir’ as the subject. All music will be provided. No choral experience necessary!
