Employment and Apprenticeships
Employment opportunities and apprenticeships are available to students across a wide range of industries such as Business, Finance, Law, Retail, Construction, Engineering, Health Care, Hospitality, to name a few.
Apprenticeships are an option for many students who want to start their career directly after GCSEs or A Levels. Students will spend the majority of their time with an employer, whilst also continuing to study for further training and qualifications.

The Careers Department can help students with searching for job opportunities, CV writing and application support, interview preparation and practice, and organising work experience.
Planning a Gap Year
A Gap Year is typically the year between the end of your Sixth Form studies and the start of a Higher Education course or employment/apprenticeship. Students can use the year as an opportunity to experience life outside of education and gain skills and experiences whilst taking the time to reflect on their next steps.
