Mock Election – Voting
Yesterday was Election Day at St Aidan’s! Our Sixth Form candidates have been campaigning for over a week and all the students from Years 7 – 13 voted for their party of choice. We were lucky enough to also have Stray FM in to interview some of our first time ‘real’ voters!
Mock Election – Hustings

Mock Election Campaign

ESU Mace Debating Competition

USA 2019
Our History and Politics Sixth Form students are having a fantastic time in the United States. The students visited the National Constitution Centre, Independence Hall and stopped for lunch at Love Park. Some of the students even sampled local cuisine, the Philly Cheesesteak. Next stop: Washington DC!
Politics and History Tour, USA 2019
The Politics and History Tour of the USA has had a fantastic start in New York. Students have visited the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, the 9/11 memorial museum, the Empire State Building, a Broadway musical and have had fun on a cycling tour of Central Park. Next stop: Philadelphia!
Debating Finals – ESU Mace Competition
