The Maths department have done an amazing display at the end of the Maths Corridor. The display shows a cross with hundreds of origami birds (made by Mrs Payling!) in the school colours.

On Tuesday 5th March, eight of our Year 10 students enjoyed two and a half hours at a Maths Feast! Well done to both teams who were commended for scoring highly in all rounds!

Eight students from the Associated Sixth Form took part in the maths team challenge in November. The two teams were faced with three gruelling rounds in a competition against twenty other schools. On March 1st we took a team of four students to the Regional Finals for the UKMT Team Maths Challenge. We had an enormous turn out this year with 135 students taking part in the Intermediate Maths Challenge – a part of the UK’s biggest national maths competition run by the UK Mathematics Trust.
