Residential Trip from Monday 22nd July 2019 to Sunday 26th May 2019
In July, Year 12 students are given the opportunity to visit CERN in Geneva, Switzerland. At CERN, the European Organisation for Nuclear Research, physicists and engineers are probing the fundamental structure of the universe. They use the world’s largest and most complex scientific instruments to study the basic constituents of matter – the fundamental particles. Students will have a chance to tour the facility, as well as meet some of the professors working at the facility. We will also take in a number of the sights in Geneva with the full itinerary to follow.
