Library
The St. Aidan’s Library is situated on the first floor of the main school building and is open to all students and staff. It provides a comprehensive facility for the whole school with resources, study tables, a teaching/silent study room, computers and a separate fiction area with comfortable seating.
Opening hours are:
8:30am – 4:00pm: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
8:30am – 5:00pm: Friday

Resources
The extensive book stock is continually updated. In addition to books to support the curriculum areas there is a wide ranging collection of fiction books. Daily newspapers and a selection of periodicals are also available. Online resources are available for students. Students in Year 7-8 may need parental permission to borrow some titles. Students in Year 9 and above are allowed to borrow teenage and adult titles without restriction.
Books may be borrowed for three weeks but can be renewed for longer by asking one of the Librarians.
