Inclusion

Inclusion Statement

At St Aidan’s Church of England High School, inclusion is at the heart of everything we do. Grounded in our Christian values of love, compassion, and respect, we are committed to creating a school community where every student feels safe, valued, and empowered to thrive.

We celebrate the diversity of our students and staff, recognising that each individual brings unique talents, perspectives, and experiences that enrich our school. We actively promote equality of opportunity and ensure that all students- regardless of background, ability, faith, or identity- are supported, encouraged, and challenged to reach their full potential.

Our inclusive ethos is reflected in our curriculum, our pastoral care, and our extensive enrichment opportunities. We are proud of our provision for students with additional needs and of the strong relationships between staff, students, and families that enable every learner to flourish.

At St Aidan’s, we believe that inclusion is not just about access - it’s about belonging. Together, we build a community where everyone is respected, everyone is heard, and everyone has the opportunity to succeed
