Northumberland Trip (Year 7)

All of Year 7 are offered the opportunity to attend the annual trip to Northumberland. The trip takes place early in the school year and is designed to help students build relationships in their new forms.

We visit Holy Island (Lindisfarne) and students are provided with an insight into the origins of St. Aidan and Christianity in our region to provide them with context and belonging to school. A highlight is the walk across the Causeway to Holy Island, and the students also take part in a range of other outdoor activities led by PGL at their Ford Castle centre.
