Charity Awareness and Support
Charity work is a valued and integral part of life at St. Aidan’s, helping students to develop a strong sense of compassion, responsibility, and active citizenship.
Through fundraising initiatives, community projects, and partnerships with local and national charities, students are encouraged to think beyond themselves and make a positive contribution to society. These experiences underpin our commitment to Citizenship education, enabling students to understand their role in the wider community and empowering them to become thoughtful, ethical, and socially responsible individuals.
Examples of local national partners who have supported include:
- Children in Need
- Zawadi
- Dementia Forward
- Love Behind the Label
- Breast Cancer awareness
- Food bank
- Harrogate Homeless Project
- Christian Aid
- Tearfund
