Welcome Back to School!

Dear Parents and Carers,

It has been wonderful to welcome all students back to St Aidan's. Students have returned looking smart, positive, and ready to learn. 

As we begin the new term, please could you help us by ensuring that your child arrives at school each day on time ( students must be in the school building by 8:40am ready to be in form for 8:45am) with the correct equipment and in the appropriate uniform.

All students 7-11 should have:

• Black pen
• Green pen
• Pencil
• Ruler

• Scientific calculator  

Uniform expectations include:

• School lanyard worn at all times (if these need to be ordered they are available to be ordered now) After next week there will be a sanction for students not having one

• Tie worn correctly with the top button fastened
• Navy school jumper
• Black trousers (leggings are not permitted; trousers must have a button and fly)
• No hoop earrings
• Black shoes or completely black trainers with no other colours showing

• Minimal make-up, with no false nails or false eyelashes 

Year 7-11 reminder: Smart watches are not permitted in school and will be confiscated if brought in. Mobile phones are not allowed to be used and should be turned off and in bags for all students. 6^th form students are allowed to use them ONLY in designated 6^th form areas.

Sixth Form students should wear smart dress, including a collared shirt/top for boys,  and no cropped tops for girls, and trainers are not permitted.
