Year 10 Food and Nutrition Workshop

The Year 10 Food and Nutrition students had the amazing experience of observing and contributing to a demonstration of Cep and Trompette tortellini and a Mars Bar ice cream produced with liquid nitrogen. The demonstration was delivered by a former pupil who is now part of the prestigious restaurant team at Horto within the Rudding Park Hotel complex. Ronnie Simpson left St Aidan’s  in 2011 and has since pursued a most successful career working in a number of both 1 and 2 starred Michelin restaurants across the country. The students were most inspired by what they saw and certainly enjoyed tasting the final outcomes.
