The Church of England, along with many individuals and organisations nationwide, is supporting the National Day of Reflection, Tuesday 23rd March, the first anniversary of the UK lockdown.
Organised by Marie Curie, the National Day of Reflection looks to reflect on our collective loss, support those who have been bereaved, and hope for a brighter future. A minutes’ silence at midday is suggested, and many people are also proposing to light a candle or a lantern in a window at 8.00pm to ‘share the light’.
We at St Aidan’s would like to join in this national moment of reflection by holding a minutes’ silence at midday.
