Last week and this week over 180 Year 8 Students have been and are currently taking part in the annual Ullswater outward bound trip. Ullswater is tailor-made for us, and is built on Outward Bound’s ‘Adventure and Challenge’ model. Students have been taking part in a wide range of activities both on site and off site. These have included canoeing/kayaking, rock climbing, mountain navigating, raft building, hill walking and scrambling, gorge walking, high ropes and initiative exercises such as blind fold navigation! Due to the time of the year students have also bravely contended with below zero temperatures but have all had a fantastic time!
