U15 Girls Cricket

Congratulations to the U-15 girls indoor cricket team who were crowned North of England Champions at the Regional Finals at Bolton Arena on Wednesday 26th April.

In their group matches St Aidan’s beat Queen Elizabeth High School from Northumberland, St Nicholas R.C School from Cheshire and Urmston School Lancashire. In the semi-finals they beat Egglescliffe from Durham which set up another war of the roses with Lancashire in the final. The girls were put into bat and posted an impressive score of 118 runs in just 8 overs and then bowled Urmston School  out for  86.

The team now represent the North of England at the National Finals at Lords on Monday 15th May.
