Tatler magazine’s State School recommendations 2015
For the second year running Tatler Magazine has published a Guide to Britain’s Best State Schools and among the schools singled out for praise is St. Aidan’s. We were contacted by the magazine at the end of last year to be told that we had come to their notice from recommendations by some of our parents, which was particularly satisfying to hear.
“In recent years St. Aidan’s has upped its game and is now, we hear, the preferred option over independents for local parents….
Pupils are relaxed, bright and attentive, and the whole place fizzes. There is a strong Christian ethos – the school says that no child falls below the radar and we believe them….
And says a mother: ‘every teacher is inspirational: I would happily sit in any of their classes – dissection of a cow’s heart in biology an exception….”
