Chris Wood, an Engineer at CableCom Solutions, IT Infrastructure Integrator, part of the CableCom group, has teamed up with Colin Morgan, Head of Technology at St. Aidan's to provide essential liaison between Industry and the School for the new A Level Engineering Curriculum introduced in Autumn 2005. Chris provides coursework and other engineers' assistance from GR Electrical and LSS Total Waste Management (associated companies), for the students to study in both AS and A2 years. The coursework and business links can be repeated each year and the links between Chris and St. Aidan's are likely to cotinue to provide students with mentoring and opportunity advice towards careers in engineering.
