Nov 10 School bus changes
From September 2016 North Yorkshire will no longer support transport to denominational schools. The operators have said that they will continue the services – but there will be an increase in cost.

A talented young cast of students from St Aidan’s had the audience howling with laughter at the Carriageworks Theatre in Leeds as part of the prestigious Shakespeare Schools Festival.
Matthew Johnson has been appearing at Theatre N16 in London in Boat under his stage name Matthew Coulton, and has been receiving very positive feedback on his performance

Jul 13 Victory for George!
Congratulations to George Mills on his fantastic achievement in winning the 800m at the ESAA.
As part of their preparation for Year 13, a group of students went to Fountains Abbey to explore the gothic and pastoral genres as well as developing their writing skills.

Ten students studying at St Aidan’s now have their work professionally framed and exhibited in one of the most prestigious exhibition spaces in London, the Mall Galleries.
St Aidan’s mounted a town centre exhibition in a prominent space within the Victoria Shopping centre between 6th and 12th July to showcase the creative talent of pupils studying Textiles and Art throughout the school.
