Welcome to the
St. Aidan's Church of England High School Website
We hope you will find it informative and enjoyable.
St. Aidan's enjoys a national reputation and is also highly regarded throughout its local community in North Yorkshire. Situated in Harrogate, well known conference centre spa town, chic shopping centre, home of Betty's and Yorkshire Tea and the place where Agatha Christie disappeared, St. Aidan's makes full use of its natural advantages. |

Regularly ranked in the top 20 comprehensives in the country it is famed for its outstanding reputation in music and science. The school also attracts national interest as a result of its huge Associated Sixth Form with St. John Fisher Catholic High School. It is most probably the largest 11 - 18 school based Sixth Form in the land with over 1000 students on roll.
The school has gone through 3 Ofsted inspections in the past decade, 1996, 2002 and 2006. On each occasion the school was graded outstanding, one of the very few secondary schools in the country to have achieved this.
The school was awarded International School Award status in 2006 and enjoys flourishing and exciting links with many countries across the world. At any time of the year students and staff of St. Aidan's are likely to be on exchange visits somewhere exciting.
I have heard St. Aidan's described as a roller coaster ride - a vibrant, flourishing, fizzing community of nearly 2,000 young people.
We welcome your interest - enjoy your visit!
