Examination Results - Wow!!

As you may have seen in the national Press, St. Aidan's has achieved unprecedented success in this year's public examinations results at Advanced Level with 60 more students taking examinations than in previous years (an entry of 450 students in total - the largest school entry in the country), we managed to maintain a phenomenal 60% A/B grade.

It was however, in GCSE that the school broke all previous records by a very significant margin. 91.3% of last year's Year 11 students achieved 5 A*-C including English and Mathematics, which is now the Government's prime indicator of examination success at 16. We strongly suspect that this fantastic result will be the best of any comprehensive school in Yorkshire and possibly the best in the North of England. Congratulations to all concerned!
