admissions

St. Aidan's is a voluntary aided mixed comprehensive school managed jointly by North Yorkshire County Council and the Diocese of Ripon and Leeds. As with community schools St. Aidan's is open to anyone who applies, up to a maximum admission limit of 226. As with community schools St. Aidan's has had to devise criteria for over-subscription. In other words, what happens when there are more applications for places than there are places available? As St. Aidan's is a church school, the Governors have devised criteria which fit in with the school's foundation and ethos.

Year 7

The application procedure for September 2007 has now been completed.

Other Year Groups

In respect of admission into other year groups at the school, prospective parents must contact the school directly. For pupils of Sixth Form age, arrangements should be made with the Sixth Form Office by telephoning 01423 818516.
