Physical Education at St. Aidan's is founded upon the philosophy to maximise opportunities for all pupils regardless of age, ability, sex or race to succeed in a safe and supportive environment. The department strives for high achievement and standards but this is on an individual basis with the belief that every pupil has it in him or her to produce work of high quality. Our basis for education lies in the development of the whole child. The department aims to be a catalyst to its students; to empower them with the knowledge, skills, values, qualifications and personal qualities to be confident and keen to participate after leaving school.
