Year 7 Music at St. Aidan's
Welcome to St. Aidan's from the Music Department!
There is lots going on in the St. Aidan's Music Department - We're sure that lots of you will want to take part in music in some way or other. Here's how:
Instrumental/Vocal Lessons
- If you already play an instrument and would like to continue learning at school, we can arrange that. Just speak to your music teacher.
- If you already play an instrument and your instrumental teacher is expecting you, your name should appear on a timetable on the main music noticeboard in the Music Block .. See your music teacher if it does not.
- If you would like to start learning an instrument at St. Aidan's, please ask your curriculum music teacher, but please note that we have very few school instruments to loan out.

If you are bringing your own instrument to school, please note:
- You can leave it in the instrument store in the Music Block (your teacher will tell you the code for the door) or keep it with you
- Your instrument will not be covered by school insurance: you should make sure it is covered by your household insurance
For all lunchtime music groups you can obtain an early lunch pass from the teacher running the activity ... this will allow you to go straight into lunch and get to your music rehearsal on time
We are rightly proud of our music-making at St. Aidan's, and look forward to your being part of this tradition.
