Year 13

Geography A2 Level (Edexcel Specification B)

In Year 7 group sizes range from 24 - 30 students. In consultation with the Learning Support Department a small number of pupils are put into LS groups. In Years 8 + 9 where possible 'A' sets are around 29, allowing for smaller 'B' sets of about 22. In Years 10 and 11 sets are kept below 29 and, if numbers allow, we encourage achievement by having smaller 'B' sets.

Post 16 students become part of St Aidan's and St John Fisher Associated Sixth Form. The same syllabus is followed at each site and, depending on numbers, students will be based at St Aidan's, St John Fisher or have lessons at each school. There are currently 4 AS groups and 5A2 groups, 6 of which are based at SA with on average of 20 students per group.
