We recognise the vital role that fieldwork plays within the subject. We value fieldwork opportunities immensely in an effort to make geography relevant and more engaging for pupils.

During KS3 students undertake fieldwork around the school site, visit the Stadium of Light at Sunderland and Malham in the Yorkshire Dales. As part of the GCSE Course we organise visits to the Yorkshire Coast and local popular tourist town of Knaresborough, along with an optional 4 day trip to the Netherlands. At A level, as part of the new specification, we have arranged for a 3 day residential visit to the Lake District to study crowded coasts and rebranding places.
