Writing Club

This voluntary lunchtime club which meets once a week is open to all.

Sometimes the group enjoys the writing of established writers, sometimes they write about pictures or objects, sometimes an event or activity is organised. Click here to read more about some of our visiting authors.

The emphasis is on having fun, making friends and learning how to enjoy and improve the writing undertaken.

Sixth Form Writing Workshop

The Sixth Form Writing Workshop is a voluntary activity open to students in Years 12 and 13. The group are learning to improve their poetry and prose. Students discuss their work within the group in a positive and constructive manner. This Workshop would be suitable for anyone interested in writing, especially those interested in applying for an arts-based or creative writing degree.
