Each Year group has a list of skills which form the focus for that year. Work in class and homework should aim to teach and practise these skills. In addition they should form the basis for comments in exercise books, targets set and reports written. Key Stage 3 students are also made aware of these skills using the target sheets in their portfolios. GCSE students are made aware of the assessment objectives for each piece of coursework and exam section.
