Archaeology Abroad - Volunteers aged 18+ are required for two weeks to three months at various locations. Bulletins published twice a year, and subscribers are eligible to apply for help with excavation expenses.

www.concordia-iye.org.uk Concordia – . International volunteer projects (2/3 weeks) worldwide for those aged 16 to 30. Restoration, social, construction, cultural and environmental projects.

www.gap.org.uk GAP Activity Projects (GAP) Ltd - TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), social/caring, medical, outdoor and environmental work etc overseas in around 30 countries, for those aged 17-25.

www.ivcs.org.uk Indian Volunteers for Community Service - Their DRIVE scheme offers voluntary work for those aged 18+ on rural development projects in India for three weeks to six months. No qualifications needed.

www.ivs-gb.org.uk International Voluntary Service (IVS GB) -Offers two- to four-week workcamp projects worldwide for people aged 18+. Experience is not normally necessary.

www.i-to-i.com i to i - Recruits volunteers aged 18-80 for projects worldwide: teaching English, conservation, building, media, health work, tourism, community development, sports projects and marketing. Also offer weekend and online TEFL course.

www.projecttrust.org.uk Project Trust - One-year placements for those aged 17-19 who are at university entrance-level standard. South and Latin America, Africa and Asia. Applicants must be in fulltime secondary education.

www.spw.org Students Partnership Worldwide (SPW) - Runs health, education and community resource programmes in India, Nepal, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and South Africa, from four to eight months, for 18 to 28-year-olds.

www.teaching-abroad.co.uk Teaching and Projects Abroad - Provides overseas voluntary opportunities for those aged 17-70 to work in teaching, medicine, journalism, conservation, business etc. Dates are flexible; full support provided.

www.internationalservice.org.uk International Service - recruits skilled professionals to work in developing countries for a minimum of two years. Living allowances are paid in relation to local costs.

www.skillshare.org Skillshare International - Places workers, aged 21 to 62, with qualifications and experience, in Africa and Asia on placements between six months and two years.

www.vso.org.uk Voluntary Service Overseas -Minimum two years. Africa, Asia and the Pacific. Age 20 to 75 - qualified volunteers (trades and professionals) only.
