A wide variety of artwork is shown around the school on a permanent basis. There are also major displays in October for Open Day and in June for A level students.
KS3 Art
The real grounding in skills is developed through a range of topics which explore a variety of media with an emphasis, in homework, on drawing skills.
GCSE Art |

At GCSE level about a third of the year group opt for Art, following courses in Fine Art, General Art, or Art Graphics. Project work involves painting, sculpture, printing, textiles, collage, graphic design and even conceptual work. Click here for more information on GCSE Art
A Level Art
Around 200 students are currently studying Art in the Sixth Form. The majority are involved in Fine Art courses which run over two years. There are also Year 12 enrichment courses in Art Graphics and Art History, substantial numbers move on to study Art at degree level. Click here for more information on A Level Art
