During the summer term, Year 9 is given the opportunity to visit the Thackray Medical Museum in Leeds.
This morning session is designed to introduce students to 'Medicine Through Time'. It is hoped that they will use this experience to gain knowledge and understanding which can be applied to Microbes and Disease at KS4.
The exhibitions start with a walk through the streets of Leeds in 1842. The students can see the squalor, hear the sounds and smell the odours! |
