May 20 Athletics Results
All 4 athletics teams, Under 13 and Under 15, boys and girls, have qualified for the North East England region final on Wednesday 19th June in Hull. They all placed in the top 8 schools in the region. Congratulations to all involved!
May 16 Year 13 Leavers
On Thursday 16th May we say goodbye to our Associated Sixth Form Year 13 students. We wish them luck in all their examinations and the exciting future that lies ahead.

Today we say goodbye to our Year 11 Class of 2019! We wish them well for their GCSE exams and all their future endeavours.
May 09 Jubilee Weekend
We had a wonderful weekend celebrating the 50th year of St Aidan’s CofE School. Here are some photos of the Jubilee Reunion, Jubilee Celebration and the Ripon Cathedral Service of Thanksgiving. Thank you to everyone who supported these events, staff, students, parents, Cathedral staff and of course our fantastic Alumni!
May 03 Spotlight Launch
St. Aidan’s ever popular KS3 show, Spotlight, will be returning for its 10th year this summer! We will be celebrating the anniversary with a spectacular performance at the Royal Hall on Tuesday 2nd July. The KS3 launch will take place on Tuesday 7th May from 3.35-5.30pm in the Main Hall.
Our Year 9 students have arrived back from their Australian Exchange adventures. They have had an amazing trip with their host families and exchange partners. This is the last photo of them together before our students departed for the UK. We look forward to welcoming our hosts back to Harrogate very soon.

Apr 15 Easter Reflection
As it is Easter we have been encouraging students and teachers to reflect on their life changing moments. We have had some really wonderful responses and it has made the students engage with what is really important to them.
Mrs Hedges was so impressed by our Year 10 GCSE Food and Nutrition class yesterday – with their very seasonal cooking! The students made Hot Cross Buns to celebrate Easter and to put into practice the food science of bread making.
Adam Hawkins (7G) was part of the U12 Hockey team for Harrogate Hockey Club that became Northern Champions at the weekend. Pagen Spooner, Year 13 student, was selected to represent the England Team at a European Athletics Event in the Czech Republic on Saturday 6th April. She raced against International Athletes from across Europe in the 10km Race walk event. Pagen finished 25th out of a field of 38 athletes in the Czech Republic. She was […]

Apr 04 Gymnastics Success
Beatrix Baum, Year 7 student, competed at a National Gymnastics Qualifier last weekend. Beatrix not only qualified with Distinction, but was also crowned Yorkshire Champion, winning a Gold Medal! Apr 02 Loch Eil 2019
The sun is shining in Loch Eil and our Year 10 students are having a fantastic time! The students enjoyed a Saturday night jog and dip in the beautiful surroundings of Ben Nevis. On Sunday they took part in a self-made abseil and on Monday the group stopped for lunch whilst canoeing on the Loch.
