YEAR 9

In Year 9 pupils have the choice of four simultaneous trips to choose from:

London Theatres

A London theatre tour which includes attending three of the most exciting productions on the London stage and workshops based both in London and in the school's drama studio.

Any pupil thinking of music or drama as an option for Year 10 may wish to consider this proposal.

Germany

A visit to one of the most famous sites in Europe - Germany's beautiful Rhineland. This visit is particularly beneficial to anyone carrying on with German in Year 10.

Paris

An opportunity to discover the highlights of the city including a visit to Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower, a cruise down the beautiful River Seine and, of course, no school trip to Paris would be complete without a day at Disneyland Paris. In addition, as an alternative to Versailles a day is spent at the equally famous and beautiful Chateau de Fontainbleau and in the evening the students have free shopping time at the Val de Europe shopping centre

This trip provides an excellent opportunity to improve French speaking skills as well as experiencing the Parisian way of life..

Visit to Holland

This is an excellent opportunity for both boys and girls with a particular interest in football and hockey to combine 3 fixtures with local clubs with sightseeing in the surrounding area. Based in the cosmopolitan town of Valkenburg, close to the borders of Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg, visits across the borders makes this a truly 'european' trip. One such trip is into Germany to visit its largest theme park Phantasialand, with fantastic roller coasters and rides not for the faint hearted!
