Our Year 9 students have arrived back from their Australian Exchange adventures. They have had an amazing trip with their host families and exchange partners. This is the last photo of them together before our students departed for the UK. We look forward to welcoming our hosts back to Harrogate very soon.
Apr 15 Year 10 Football Update
Well done to the Year 10 Football team who followed up their North Yorkshire final with a win against St John Fisher School on penalties in the semi final of the Harrogate and Craven Cup competition. The final will be after Easter, congratulations boys!

Apr 15 Inter-form Football
It has been a fantastic couple of weeks of Inter-form Sport, with with Years 7-9 students participating in tournaments of Netball, Hockey, Basketball and Football. On Thursday, Year 8 competed in Inter-form Football with Form 8G taking the winning title! Well done to all staff and students who were involved.
Apr 15 Year 7 Sports Selection
Max Ramsden, Year 7 student, has just been selected to play for the Under 12s North of Yorkshire cricket team, known as the Yorkshire Rockets. These are one of four regions in the whole of Yorkshire. He bowls leg spin and bats in the middle order. Congratulations to Max on this wonderful achievement.

Mrs Hedges was so impressed by our Year 10 GCSE Food and Nutrition class yesterday – with their very seasonal cooking! The students made Hot Cross Buns to celebrate Easter and to put into practice the food science of bread making.
Adam Hawkins (7G) was part of the U12 Hockey team for Harrogate Hockey Club that became Northern Champions at the weekend. Pagen Spooner, Year 13 student, was selected to represent the England Team at a European Athletics Event in the Czech Republic on Saturday 6th April. She raced against International Athletes from across Europe in the 10km Race walk event. Pagen finished 25th out of a field of 38 athletes in the Czech Republic. She was […]

A representative from the Faculty of Medical Sciences at the University of Newcastle will be in school at lunchtime on Monday 8th April to talk about all the courses they offer including Medicine, Dentistry, Biomedical Science, Nutrition, Psychology and Sports Science. The talk will be in the Careers Department and start promptly 12.45pm.
Apr 04 Gymnastics Success
Beatrix Baum, Year 7 student, competed at a National Gymnastics Qualifier last weekend. Beatrix not only qualified with Distinction, but was also crowned Yorkshire Champion, winning a Gold Medal! Apr 02 Loch Eil 2019
The sun is shining in Loch Eil and our Year 10 students are having a fantastic time! The students enjoyed a Saturday night jog and dip in the beautiful surroundings of Ben Nevis. On Sunday they took part in a self-made abseil and on Monday the group stopped for lunch whilst canoeing on the Loch.
