Frequently voted the best loved building in the North of England, if not countrywide, we are excited to be performing at the wonderful Durham Cathedral on Saturday 27th Feb at the inaugural North-East Festival of Youth Choirs.
Feb 23 Year 7 Cross Country
Congratulations to two of our Year 7 boys, Ben Chumas and Henry Rhodes who represented North Yorkshire at the Northern Schools’ Inter Counties Cross Country.
Feb 23 Intermediate Maths Challenge
We had an enormous turn out this year with 135 students taking part in the Intermediate Maths Challenge – a part of the UK’s biggest national maths competition run by the UK Mathematics Trust.
The AMP Business/Enterprise team are group of Year 11 students who are responsible for running the school ‘Battle of the Bands’ music concert.
3 girls basketball teams have reached the final 16 teams in the National School Competition; U13s, U14s and U15s. However, the U17s have gone one further and have successfully reached the final 8!
Congratulations to the Year 7 boys’ football team who have made it through to the national finals in Derby. They will represent the North East after winning the regional round.
Feb 09 Gabriella jumps to victory
Congratulations to Year 7 student Gabriella Whiteley who is now the Northern Athletics U13 high jump champion.
8th March, 7.00pm sees our Symphony Orchestra, Girls’ Choir and Chamber Choir join the world famous percussionist and composer Dame Evelyn Glennie in Constance Green Hall at St. Aidan’s. Tickets are available from positickets, book now!
